Job Opportunity: Senior Events Manager (Europe)

  • Location: London, Hammersmith and Fulham (Hybrid)
  • Department: Events Team
  • Reports to: Head of Events (Europe)
  • Core Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm (Flexibility Required)
  • Compensation: £50k-£55k + 10% Target Bonus
  • Business Travel: Frequent travel to all SBC Events in Europe

Your Role:

As a Senior Events Manager, you’ll be instrumental in executing large-scale B2B events. You’ll work alongside the Head of Events (Europe) on various aspects like budgeting, vendor management, logistics, and on-site execution. Your focus will be on ensuring the best delegate experiences and driving exhibitor satisfaction across SBC’s high-profile conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to event planning, budgeting, and vendor management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage complex venue builds and high-spec AV stages.
  • Ensure events run smoothly and on budget.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale B2B events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional vendor management experience with a focus on collaboration and successful outcomes.
  • People management experience, particularly with large teams during events.
  • Experience in managing complex event logistics and venue regulations.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills.
  • CMP or CEM certifications.
